so doesn't seem like decision finalized means all that much, huh? I live less than 15 miles from USC, but have been decision finalized since 1/14 with no word.

It took a month for my letter to arrive. DF 12/8.

on another note, did anyone end up applying for Rothman? I just got the application received email.

That's such a tease. So they finalize your decision, tell you that it's finalized, but won't tell you what it is until ...

When did you send in your application? I dropped mine in the mailbox on Tuesday in Nor Cal, and now I'm starting to worry that they won't receive it in time.

Tuesday in Central Cali. I did first class and they said it would be delivered by thursday. I was a little apprehensive too...I'm sure it will be fine though. In state mail is usually very quick.

I'm probably wrong, but don't you just need your app to be postmarked before the deadline date?

I mean, they can't expect you to control USPS :). But USC might be diff.

The Rothman notification said "received by" the 21st.
The Committee'll probably begin reading essays on Monday.

Yup. USC does everything through snail mail, I guess. I like being dinged like this better than an email?

But I don't like either, haha.

DF 1/14. I hope you don't have the same date. You never know though! You might get much better news! :).

I am prepared to get dinged, although I hope not. USC is my top choice in LA!

I'm still UR (12/24/10). But I still fully expect to be rejected, although at a later date.
