+1. I'm still so nervous though!!!
Haha yeah me too! I guess it doesn't even make sense that I'm slightly upset about not getting a phone call today when I haven't even gotten a JR1.
lmao this is what i was thinking. like oh god i missed a week, missed jr1 where is my jr2???

tls is def not helping my nueroses...

Definitely let myself think this morning that maybe a jr2 would come and they just accidently forgot to call the first time. Glad I'm not the only psycho

It does seem from last year that there were a few exceptions to this (some East Coasters who didn't hear until 6 pm EST, that sort of thing). I don't think anyone ever tracked down what the story was on those exceptions.
I wonder if the balance of calls right now are to folks who are post-UG/working. Maybe they wait till later to call people still in UG so as not to hit them during class?
Hahaha I hope so! I'm still in UG but slowly, surely losing hope.

Congrats to everyone who got in!

Does anyone know when the next batch of JR1 emails are going out? Probably post-Thanksgiving, I'm assuming?

Yeah I hope soon. I figure JR is busy with acceptances today but maybe in the next couple days before the holiday we might see some JR1 emails.

Tough to be in that second wave of applicants, but huge congrats to all the JR2's today.

Looking at this year's Law School Numbers for HLS, it looks like only 1 non-URM has been accepted with below a 173... anyone else out there get a JR2 today with under a 173??

I noticed that as well. Certain makes me feel bad and really hopeful at the same time. Since they accept plenty of greens in last year's graph between 170-172/3.9+, I think they just have not gotten to that pool of borderline applicants yet.

That certainly gives me some lingering hope! Any idea when those borderline candidates might hear back?

I am going to dig through the 200 pages of last year's thread again tonight. I will report when I find out. Go read it if you have time :D I was active during the later half so I don't remember the earlier acceptances.

Yes! I was pretty confident of a JR2 today, now I'm adrift.

Looks like the last call last year came out at 6 PM Central (according to the thread, at least), so there's theoretically room for a few more calls today, or a few more tomorrow morning if JR heads home from work earlier.

EDIT: Otherwise looks like next Monday would be the earliest, unless we get a "missed call e-mail." I think we have some very strong numbers in our preTG JR1, no JR2 group, so I'm not too bummed yet.

171/3.99 Non-URM. Accepted this afternoon. I did have a very unique/impressive soft, however.

So for us borderline applicants / reverse splitters (for Harvard, that is!) -

Glancing quickly at LSN from last year of applicants with 170-171 and above a 3.9:

17 Accepted
17 Waitlisted (2 later accepted)
7 Rejected

Of those who were accepted:
November - 5 (11/23)
December - 4
January - 3
February - 2
March - 2

1 did not report a decision date. Those accepted in November all applied in early October/September. Those getting in December were more likely later November applications.

Most of the waitlists came in April, probably after bring held sometime in January/February.

Most of the rejections came in January, others in April after what I again assume was a hold.

Here are the applicants I was looking at.

I'm not holding my breath.

Not sure on historical data, but for those still waiting:

I suspect JR can't maintain a 175/176 LSAT median (at least going by LSN). There is still a lot of cycle left.

Thanks all for the congrats.

I would actually be less worried if my numbers were a little below today's medians (ie., those probably wait till December). But since they're a little above, I've started to wonder it there's something drastically wrong with the rest of the app (LoRs, PS, or something).

Congrats all!

UR as of today. Truth be told, I really haven't taken this app very seriously even though it's not completely out of my league. Guess it's time to search out some JR1 info and have a few questions in my pocket. Blarg :P

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
