Still waiting here in St. Louis MO. We've got time!

Otherwise we're in for the long wait.
+1 in chicago. The time zone difference is the only thing keeping me from going insane at this point.

+1 in CST.

At least one of us should be in so it looks like the CST batch is still to come.

Also: congrats to all the JR2s thus far!

In!! East Coast. Call seemed like it was less than a minute! JR said a packet with materials would be in the mail within the next day or two (with passcode to access admitted students site). I think my heart is still racing...

Congrats to everyone else in, and good luck to everyone still waiting!

since jr2's have already started going out, should people with upcoming jr1's expect to hear back pretty soon if they got in, or is there no consensus on this? last year it seemed like almost everyone with jr1's after thanksgiving either heard back within or week or had a long wait ahead.

also, CONGRATS to everyone who hears today!

I wouldn't worry about it at this point. On the last two Harvard threads from the prior two years, east coast kids began getting the calls early on, with no [reported] west coast calls until later in the day. The first western JR2 reported on TLS last year was in Texas at around about 10 AM (Arizona time, so 9 AM PST time. At 11AM (10 AM PST) last year, the thread appeared to indicate that nearly all went to EST, with a few exceptions for CST, and no far west coasters receiving their JR2s. I believe the first reported west coast JR2 was at 12:35 PST, and after that time, the west coast calls started reigning in. So if it follows the trend of last year (if you even call it a trend) then it seems logical to assume he roughly calls in waves from EST to CST and finally PST. This is rough, however, after all EST kids were still getting calls later in the day, just not in large waves.

Right now I feel like Mark Zuckerberg in the final scene of The Social Network. I'm staring longingly at this thread, hitting refresh every few seconds.

Only I'm not a billionaire.
