If you really scored much lower than your average, and you can rationally explain why you want to shoot higher (or get more money, which is very very valid), then go for it. Upside: higher schools and/or more money, down side: 1 year of WE and waiting for economy to improve. You can probably justify the downside against 1 year of lost biglaw salary.
All very good advice. Signing up for June LSAT...
Now everyone get back to freaking out about HLS.

October submit, January hold, dinged today also. Not surprised--I never had the numbers for Harvard.

Rejected after a hold in January. My numbers are relatively bad so no surprise
Good luck to everyone else!

This is a bloodbath -- sorry to all those fallen soldiers today.
My office mate just proposed that they may be going in alphabetical order- anyone dinged with a last name from the latter half of the alphabet?

I hope, that'll mean I'm already passed over. Don't count on it though.

Checking in: UR date in Oct, held 1/10/11. I'll post what happens, though given my less-than-Harvardian numbers (3.4/174), I'm not expecting much.

Ladies and gentleman, i have been honored to be in company of such determined students. I held on a lot longer than i ever thought i would but you can't win them all. I hope you all fair better than I did. Godspeed and good luck.
