Look at avarage/median for non-URMs who have gotten JR1s so far in the OP. It seems they haven't really dipped down to the lower LSATs yet, so its reasonable to suspect that you still have a shot later in the cycle when they do get to all the 174s and 173s.

I've been UR since 11/23, and my numbers aren't super competitive. If I don't get a JR1 email (by some miracle) in the next few days, can I assume I'll get dinged in the first wave of rejections?

Damn. I'd like to be authoritatively dinged before I hear back about my NYU ED so I can forever put aside the "what ifs."

Is it just me, or has it been a while since someone got a JR1 email?

I think it's been a while. But since they were busy with the JR2s and then holiday break, it's understandable. Hopefully they got all the super LSAT folks all squared away and have been reading our less-than-impressive files.

Haha. You and me both, man. Except acceptance at NYU is far from garunteed for me.

I shouldn't have said that so definitively -- I'm far from a lock at NYU, too. All this waiting and uncertainty isn't good for my head.

Well, let's not be too hasty... Although I'm in the same boat, so looks like we gotta wait some more.

Awesome job catsparka! I knew it'd come for ya. :)

Yeah, I guess here's to more waiting for the rest us who were UR mid-November. I'm really hoping HLS likes reverse splitters in my case although the opposite is probably true. Bah! I can just feel myself getting more neurotic every day lol.

Does your status checker change at all if you're given a JR1?

Congrats to all who got the email today.
