Sorry about that. Weird that you're the only one saying anything on here though. I'm definitely auto-ding material, so I wonder what the delay is. You have SUPER AMAZING options though.
Yeah, I'm wondering why I'm the only one as well.... Maybe they were just absolutely positive with me haha.

Same. Applied 11/25 so they're taking awhile to get it together. Waiting for that auto-ding email any day now!

+1 I am now on the edge of my seat for several schools. This cannot be good for my health.

Agreed! With Harvard rejections, UVA waitlists, and Penn reopening tomorrow email is definitely not good for my sanity right now.

Rejected via email, also as expected. 170/3.9

Submitted early October, "Under Review" on Status Check since 10/18, "Application Complete" email 10/25

I'm really sorry to hear that. I'm surprised you were straight up rejected with that LSAT
It's not looking too good for me since mine is a little below yours, but my gpa is higher, ugh I hate waiting...

Damn, so sorry. That LSAT is so kick-ass. I guess the sub-3.7 GPA is a killer for most people.

This, I suspect.

Also, the 176 was a retake (169, 5 years ago). Almost certainly a factor. I didn't write an addendum for it because "I took it the first time on a whim so I didn't really prepare for it" isn't particularly compelling.
Enjoy CCN!
Thanks, I certainly hope to! :D

So, I received an email today stating that my application is complete, two days after I completed my JR1. Don't the Application Complete emails tend to go out long before the JR1? Is there anything to be surmised from this order? It has been under review since mid December but only listed as Application Complete today.

Sounds sort of strange, but I don't think there are any implications. The complete e-mails come late for Harvard.

Do you mind sharing when you got the e-mail for the JR1?

I'm also a retaker. Only I took it three times and my highest is not quite as high as yours, but still above median. And average is just above 170. So, I'm bracing for impact as well.

Earlier on, a lot of ppl who got JR1s got the JR1 before the complete e-mail. Unsure if there is any pattern, though.

Two questions:

1) Do you have to have a phone interview to get in?

2) About how soon after your file went under review did you get the interview email?

Thanks

1) Yes.

2) For me, it was only a couple days, but my situation may be unusual.

I also got my application complete email a week after my interview. I was under review on 11/30 and then received a JR1 email on 12/6 and JR2 on 12/20. Hope this helps other with questions about the timing in the application process. Ive heard that mine went kind of quickly though so dont be discouraged if you havent yet had your JR1 or JR2!! We are very early in the game right now!

Sorry to keep bumping the thread with this, but we're in an uncomfortable purgatory.

How many of us are left with an early (pre-XMas break) JR1 but no JR2? Anyone developing any clue as to what might be going on, or are we just waiting for holds?

EDIT: JR1 was 11/3 here.

Yikes that's rough...even when its expected it still hurts!

That's probably it for my Harvard hopes then...

EDIT: Also, if I've been UR since 12/15 and haven't gotten a JR1 email yet, that is a bad bad sign, right?

Based on last year I think you should be hoping for a hold at this point. It is definitely still possible to get in though, and I think if I recall correctly some people from last year were held and then received a JR2 before the end of the cycle. Other holds dropped off the map.

actually, the exact same thing happened with me, and the JR2 came the following week--so no worries there.

Exact situation. I'm guessing it's not looking good for us.

Just got the email ding. I would have withdrawn if I got wait-listed anyway, so it's not that bad.

Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
