Guys, I suggest we add this phenomenon to the OP (though I highly doubt anyone reads that) so that opening this thread to see what new info people may have shared does not turn into frustration 85% of the time, seriously people getting surprised because of late complete e-mails is such a recurring theme that they started to become like your grandfather afflicted with Alzheimers (periodically being surprised by the same things) and just as sad.
Or we may change the title to: Harvard 2011 Applicants (When You Receive Your Complete E-Mail Has No Meaning)

I'm guessing that people are getting JR1 emails, etc.--it's just not us.

If it doesn't happen on TLS, it doesn't happen at all.

Seriously this is TLS, not Losers United.
There are several people with amazing stats waiting and posting in this forum, I think the odds of what you said is infinitesimal.

That picture makes me happy.
I think the point people are trying to make is that there are JR1 emails going out, and since we are a very small sample of the actual applicant pool, by random chance no one who posts here regularly has gotten one.

I keep reminding myself that the insular world of TLS and LSN is really only a small section of the population.
Harvard claims they get about 6700 applicants/year. LSN is only reflecting about 400 of them right now. That's about 6% of the applicants.
The fact that we are counting on such a puny portion of data to gauge news and movement sucks and borders on insanity....and makes me find nullisecundus 'tar ridiculously apt every time I see it.

You probably mean some admissions assistant. Maybe if they got a raise they'd be more inclined.

What happens if you don't answer your JR2? Does JR leave you a message? Obviously I would try to answer, just saying it wouldn't be the first phone call that I've missed.

Ok, so it's pretty much apparent by now that nothing's going to happen today.
But, Harvard, it will be very very cruel to allow us to go into another weekend without any updates for anyone. Throw us a bone to chew on, some data, some status updates, anything. Please!

Just got the email for my JR1--it's next week. I'm pretty impressed at how fast things are moving. I submitted on 1/7 and went UR 1/19. Of course I know that my good luck will now run out and it will take three months after my JR1 for me to hear a final decision...
I have a 3.8x/174 (retake) in case anyone's interested.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
