I submitted my app in mid january ( i know, really late.)

Haven't gotten any word. I'm basically at the medians for LSAT, GPA, have pretty solid softs but nothing absurd. Not a URM. Thought I would at least get held or waitlisted.

Will I get a straight ding? Is it weird I haven't heard anything back.
Same situation, welcome to the club.

I applied even later than you guys. Jan 31 (oops). I wonder if they're still admitting anybody. If they're going to have two interviews with admits, it seems unlikely to admit many more people this late in the cycle.

After mid-March last year, there were virtually no acceptances. At this point, a waitlist is probably the most we can hope for. The few people accepted after mid-March were probably the ones still waiting on a JR2 or something.

Congrats kak5n! You were held too, right? I was too, and there looks to be much movement for holds lately. See you in ASW!

Most impressive, particularly in light of your recent Stanford acceptance.

Perhaps the drop in LSAT takers meant that Harvard snatched up high LSATs without too much focus on GPA, and now they're trying to make up some lost ground by grabbing some high GPAs?

To add support to this theory...I have a relatively low LSAT as well (170) and was admitted a week ago. They are definitely taking a second look at holds with perhaps an eye for high GPAs.

Congrats on your admission!

Sounds like a "we want to admit this person but need to wait to meet our medians first" case. Your application was probably impressive.

Thank you all! I was held in January, and I didn't think there was any chance with my <25% LSAT and no work experience...

That's awesome! Did you submit an LOCI? And if so, what kind of things did you talk about in it?

I actually didn't! I felt that I had nothing more to add.. my first semester's transcript maybe, but they already knew I had a good GPA so I didn't think it was a legitimate interesting addition to my application.

finally got my official rejection email -- was expecting a rejection any day now but still sucks to be officially out of the running. Best of luck to everyone!

FYI - I applied late in the cycle (under review 1/24).
