Shall I brace myself for possible panic every Friday from now on?

Calm before the storm... I got a bad feeling it might get ugly this afternoon.

Re: Harvard 2011 Applicants
So did anyone who went UR on 12/8 or later get held? I'm assuming they saw my scores and just said... meh, put me at the bottom of the huge pile, and haven't gotten around to holding or rejecting me yet.
Just joining this weird tea leaf-reading game because work is... slow today (this week, etc.). You all would make a lot of money if you invested this much time and energy trying to sort out the options markets, FWIW.

Well if the whole law school thing doesn't work out, at least I know what to try next.ahduth wrote:So did anyone who went UR on 12/8 or later get held? Agreed, I think the biggest question for me is "what the heck pile am I in?"
Am I in the "probable reject" pile? The "soon to be held" pile? Perhaps even the "almost but not quite JR1 pile"? Ugh, it's maddening, I tell you!

I think the admissions office must be trying to figure out what their medians are this year. Hopefully they haven't changed...

I've been Under Review since 12/7 with no JR1 and no "Held" status. My numbers should be auto dingable, but we'll see.
Maybe something, anything please, today.

Same here, except make that date 12/15, with the "complete" e-mail coming on 12/22.BackToTheOldHouse wrote:I've been Under Review since 12/7 with no JR1 and no "Held" status. My numbers should be auto dingable, but we'll see.

Any ideas on when/if any more JR1 emails will be going out? (Sorry if this was already asked and answered).
