No problem. I just wish that I didn't have it in my email to post it here. :(

Understandably so. It looks like Georgetown is pretty liberal with taking people off the WL, so I wouldn't give up just yet.

For those who just got interview requests recently, it seems like most of the people who have interviewed during the last month or so of this cycle have ended up getting waitlisted, while early on more were getting acceptances. I'm just guesing, but the class might be filling up. I only mention this to say that, if GULC is your top choice and you got an interview request, it's probably worth it to switch to ED. Of course, that's not to say you won't get in without ED, but I think it's getting more difficult.

:D Sorry, really not trying to be a downer, it's just what I've noticed. I think if you nail the interview, and you're over at least one median (which it looks like you are, Flip) that your chances are still good. A lot of people don't know that they will let you switch to binding ED even after you've already submitted your app (and even after you've interviewed), so I thought I would share that with people if anyone is really hoping for GULC. I got interviewed, but I really don't think I would have gotten in had I not switched to ED.

Yeah I have a 4.0 but I'm right around their 25th LSAT. I know a couple people that have gotten in with 167/4.0 so I'm hoping I can make up for a couple LSAT points with a good interview. The interviewer is a law prof at my UG's law school so if anything he'll understand my softs/extracurriculars better than would a random person. Fingers crossed. I really want GULC, but not enough to make it binding yet.

My opinion really isn't worth much, but it seems like your alumni interviewer being a law professor would be a definite plus. Good luck on the interview! My alumnus asked that we meet at Denny's, hopefully yours doesn't require you to eat a grand slam.

Ha that's weird and kinda unprofessional. I'm meeting in his office at the law school. I was told explicitly not to wear a suit. I guess shirt and tie then?

I might go with slacks and a shirt, top button unbuttoned no tie. Of course, the tie is not going to reflect poorly on you and it never hurts to err on the side of caution.

Thanks! Bloom county and Calvin and Hobbes were staples of my childhood, though in the case of BC I don't think I really got most of the jokes. The little padfolio is pretty sweet, and the booklet about GULC and DC is actually has some decent info in it. Of course, the paper was unglued from the cardboard backing when I opened mine... :( .

I was updated today 3/7 says application completed. Prior update was 2/8 when and they send an interview request that day. I interviewed about two weeks ago. Hoping that 3/7 is a good day!

Anyone else notice the bright orange announcement on the Admissions page?

"Although our JD application deadline has officially passed, for those who are still interested in applying, we will continue to accept JD applications until further notice.  Please contact the Office of Admissions if you have any questions or need any assistance in submitting an application."
