Welllll not to my knowledge. Never got an email that I'm being held. But I am doing a group interview soon.

Since I had my interview last week, I'm hoping GULC will update me on Monday, and I'll be able to generate a password to the admitted students website. It'd be the best birthday present ever.

I was supposed to interview today in Boston, but the interviews got moved to Thursday because of the blizzard. Can't make it on Thursday, so hopefully they'll make a decision soon. I'm sitting at 1/26 completed, but it was something like my 7th update.

Has anyone interviewed over the phone? Should I just make the 400 mile drive to Dallas for an in-person interview to avoid any awkwardness over the phone?

Wait, the closest interviewer is 400 miles away? I drove 125 miles to do an in-person interview. I just think that you leave a better impression with someone in-person. It is more personal and you forge a better connection.

How much do you want to get in?

Dallas is actually 570 miles from where I live. While I wouldn't be crushed if I was rejected by Georgetown, I would very much like to be accepted....kind of a vague answer, but it is what it is.

I meant it more encourage you to think about it than an answer it itself. There is no way for me to know your circumstances, and encouraging you to go (or not to go) will be done without knowing the larger picture. For me, if I really wanted to go to GULC, I would do anything I could to give myself an edge, especially an interview where I get to sell myself. I firmly believe that my (in person) interview was the tipping point for my own application.

Sound advice. Thanks, seriously.

I interviewed over the phone, but my interviewer offered it since he was out of the country. I ended up hitting it off with my interviewer and getting accepted. Other then getting disconnected a couple times because of his Skype connection, it wasn't particularly awkward.

I feel like you could seriously sell that as a sign of your interest in the school. I mean, hell, driving 570 miles just for an interview. I'd be impressed.

Received 1/10
Complete 1/14
Completed 1/21
Completed 2/2

Applied ED. Friday is the 3-week mark. Has anyone applied ED and waited longer than 3 weeks for a decision?

If we can't get into ASW today I think it means a rejection

I just went "Application Completed" on 01/31. I was able to generate a password today. I don't believe I could do this yesterday, FWIW.

Although I generated a password, said password did not actually work to get into the ASW. Not sure what that means.

Just got updated to 2/2.

Dear GULC, please know that if accepted I will be the BEST student ever. I will work tremendously hard and will do everything I possibly can to be #1 in my 1L class.

That is normal. Congrats! You will be able to log in and will receive your official letter in the mail later in the week.

@username10012; yes, dings/wls are emailed.

Also, if there is anyone with stellar numbers (above both of their 75ths) that is updated to 2/2. Please let me know. I have a great fear that 2/2 is a ding-batch and your presence in it could assuage the uncertainty I feel. Thanks!
