Just submitted an RD app (October taker so won't go complete for a bit).

I guess I should make myself comfortable, then? I feel confident about this one but that doesn't mean anything.

ED PT-er checking in. I was complete on the 8th, updated on 12th and 20th, due a decision on Friday. Haven't gotten my update today like everyone else.

Is anyone else in a constant state of semi-panic?

I applied ED Oct 4th went complete on the 5th , was offered an interview via an email Friday the 22nd that I quickly replied my yes to. Just was contacted this afternoon by the alumni to schedule the interview, seems to be moving along pretty quick.

Been lurking around here for awhile figured I should finally post something.

How do you people know when you status has been updated? Does it show all the previous updates or are you guys just neurotic and check it every day and note down when it has updated?

I'm certainly in a constant state of semi-panic. I applied for both programs, but I'm more realistically a part-time candidate. I'm also due a decision on Friday. Not sure what the update today means (if anything). Either way, they should reach a decision by the end of the week!

I doubt it means much, if anything. Maybe the status changes when someone accesses your file as someone else suggested. A lot of the people in this thread are ED so with the new 3 week turn around it would make sense their status dates would change a lot in those 3 weeks. I applied on the 1st so maybe they have started to look at some of the early RD applicants? Anyway, your numbers are better than mine and my status date keeps changing, could be a good thing for you

also, bk, i would totally take a beer right now if i could drink on the job.

Another RD applicant here.. think I submitted on 10/6. Current status date is 10/22.. updated from 10/08 to 10/13 then 10/22. Doubt it really means much other than your file has been accessed. Dont think we will be hearing back anytime soon.

It tells you when the newest update ocurred. So you don't have to be neurotic to tell.

Did any ED applicants have a decision deadline of today? For those of you who were invited to interview, did they say anything about your decision deadline being extended?

No mention of change in deadline due to the interview. From what I've gathered from the forums and such is that it's usually about 7 to 10 days after the interview that people received notice of their decision.
