depends on your interviewer (obviously), but I received a "decision" (a hold) about a week after interviewing
did you get an update after the file was (assumingly) sent into GULC and then another when you got the decision? thanks.

as far as i know my status date only changed once, when i got the hold email, but it's possible there was one in between that i missed

I just updated from 2/9 --> 2/11, its my 4th update and third in 2 weeks, so expecting to hear something soon, I guess...oh the stress.

me too, it was where I wanted to go to undergrad it is just that dream school you know? But I am the same, I've fallen in love UT so while this would be great I really expect WL.

Well as a Texan you are in great shape with UT...big fan of the law school...my best friend's dad is a partner at Susman Godfrey and he went there so I grew up viewing the school in the same light as Harvard haha

I'm inclined to think soon, with so many updates close together...but who knows really. I've only been complete since early January so I have a hard time guessing. Please GULC, give me good news!!

Should I consider it a good sign that I made it to 4 completes? I'm applying for the PT program with sub-par numbers but killer softs... anyone want to give me a false sense of hope?

4 updates as opposed to 3? Seems like they just can't let you go yet......

Yup. I went complete 1/10 and then I think the 25th, and then 2/9 and again today. Please oh please; I live in DC now and kinda love the idea of staying...

"Preferred waitlist" email. Gotta say, that surprises me a bit. I guess I probably wouldn't have gone, anyway, so it does help their yield.

Forgive my incessant freakouts on this. But... if I don't get any emails from Gtown today (waitlist or rejection), which is the date of my 4th update, should I be thinking happy thoughts? Or am I totally delusional?

preferred wait list via e-mail.

i'm considering expressing interest in remaining on the list, so that they will accept me, and then i will withdraw. that way they cannot use me to game their matriculant rate. super sketchy and a huge turn-off.
