I was stuck at 11/4 after my interview on 11/1, I was sure I was waitlisted after receiving nothing in the mail the last two weeks. Just checked and I'm at 11/18! I actually gave up hope on GTown. Now to furiously check the mail every day again.

Can someone explain to me where you are getting these date changes? I don't see anything in my status check, and I've already been sent an email offering me an interview. I don't know if this topic was covered earlier, but reading 51 pages of postings is a bit much for me. Thanks!

You don't see the date change. You KNOW the date change.

What is the "current status date" on your application? Was it different a few days ago? Have you been obsessively checking every day? Therein lies your answer, my friend.

Aaaaaaah..... that explains everything. I have not been obsessively checking. The latest date is today's date, and when I checked last it was that day's date (sometime earlier this week).

From this thread it seems like the third time you have a date change is when they have a decision. People have gotten notified by snail mail soon after the third date change.

Sometimes, but not always.

A few people (me) have had more than three date changes and no news, and some people got decisions with two (i'm pretty sure, but I have to go to work, so no time to find that piece of the thread now).

Either way, it can't hurt to stalk to mailman

A good amount of people received them on Friday.
