So, where are the 11/29's getting letters from? I am hoping one can make it to NYC today...

I live in DC so that's probably why I got mine. And I'm kind of confused cause there are 2 dates on the envelope that are hard to read, but it looks like the postage stamp is from 11/30, and the letter was mailed 12/01

First, CONGRATS!

Secondly, if some, if not all, of the letters were mailed on 12/1 that certainly helps explain the wait.

Maybe they noted that you lived in DC and sent your letter a day later, so that you would receive it on the same day as most other people... Yes, certainly this is the case, so we will all surely find letters in our mailbox this evening.

Maybe I don't follow or am freaking out because I'm one of y'all (and I'm too chicken to try to get my own login information), but isn't it a good thing when you can get the login info? and a bad thing if you can't? Am I totally lost?

I haven't tried and don't intend to try. Just wait for the letter.

I was one of those who repeatedly checked the admitted students site, and yesterday decided that I will just wait for my letter. I think it's good advice - I have certainly been less stressed since I made the decision. It's hard though - I still check my status and I'm a 12/1 status change. We'll see how long I hold out...

I got my admission letter days ago. it was probably sent out on Nov 22nd. But my online status still shows COMPLETE

Anyone have any idea how much of a boost ED is at GULC for full time? I applied full time and was asked to interview (the interview went really well) and I went ahead and switched my app to ED just now. I'm hoping that if I was close enough for them to want to interview me, that a good interview and ED should be enough to put me over the top.

Thoughts on this?

I attended a Q&A with Deans of Admission and they seemed to indicate that it was a boost. I'm not sure if it's as much of a boost as say UVa, but he seemed to indicate that it helps.

Just tried it and no luck. But, others said it took over a day from their last update to gain access. AHH.

I would say you're likely good to go because I haven't read about anyone with 6+ updates. Then again, what do I know? I'm just a poor soul begging for Gtown to take some Jesuit-style pity on me.
