I'm still at Complete 1/7, and I'm in the December LSAT-takers club. I'll check again later today.androstan wrote:Ack, I just checked and I'm updated 1/21.

Anyone who received an Early application hold hear anything yet? They guaranteed decisions by feb. 28th. Looking at last years thread, most of them got waitlisted in the final few days before feb. 28th

Hmmm. I took the December LSAT, sent in the app on 1/10, and went to "App Complete" 1/20. 167/3.7, auto-ding/held?iwanta170 wrote:I'm still at Complete 1/7, and I'm in the December LSAT-takers club. I'll check again later today.androstan wrote:Ack, I just checked and I'm updated 1/21.

I was accepted in December and mine says application completed now. I don't remember what it said before.planQ wrote:Submitted 11/25 or so, went complete right around then. Has been updated once or twice, and am now "Application Completed" i have no idea what this means?

The trick is that after you've had a reasonable number of updates (like 3, but I needed 4) you go to this website -- http://www.law.georgetown.edu/admissions/admitted/ -- and click "no password." If you're in, GULC sends you an email with a username and password, which won't work for a while (til 5 p.m. or later). If the website says your information can't be found or something like that, you either did not get in or did not get in yet.

Re: GULC Waiting Thread
Sorry guys, I'm new to the thread and I went complete 1/3. I don't want to dig through countless pages for my answer. Today I got an email talking about these optional interviews. What's the consensus around here on those? Are they worth doing? Is it a good or bad sign? I live in So-Cal so i'd have to go with the skype version of the interview.

Interviews seem to be offered to borderline candidates. Splitters and reverse splitters.
It can only help, so why not go for it?

I still am. I'm banking on that 10-20ish percent chance of getting off the list. ><Marionberry wrote:Sucks, man. I was really hoping you'd get in.

An old thread said there are around 450-500 people on the preferred waitlist and 25-50 end up getting pulled off of it.planQ wrote:Emailed: Preferred waiting list. submitted 11/25 went complete around then. Application was updated today to Completed.

Best you can do is send a LOCI.

I assume LOCI is a 'letter of confirmed interest'.

No, they're not. Though I assume they probably PWL some a lot of people who are unlikely to get off of it (i.e. people who are a touch under both medians), so if you're not that then it may be better.planQ wrote:Well those aren't great odds...lol.

Even though it probably won't help, it can't hurt since they've improved so I'd say send it.planQ wrote:Well i am a pretty heavy splitter 3.2/174, my grades have improved slightly but not much beyond what they have been previously, should i send an updated transcript?
