Good-luck to those still in waiting! =)

Hey Marion! Yeah I had an interview 2 weeks ago. I know it can be awhile after your interview before you hear back, but I was hoping it'd be quick!Marionberry wrote:Did you get an interview request, xtine?

I wonder if we'll see movement tomorrow with the 12/16ers! Seems to be two different groups floating around.

I hope so, and I hope that it is positive movement. Is that too much to ask??

Thanks! I think I will be switching to ED tomorrow. I got the interview request last week.Marionberry wrote:GULC will email you and request an interview, then once you say you'd like to be interview the alumni will either call or email you.bostonlawchick wrote:Waitlisted at UVA. How does one go about switching to ED at gtown? I'd really love to be in dc. Does ED give the same bump? Also, how does your interviewer get in touch with you? So many questions.
to switch to ED, email or call the Admissions office and ask them. I think I filled out the ED application, and emailed them a scanned copy of it. Then, I had to send in a hard copy.
Anyone that's had an interview had any tips? Was it more of a conversation about law school and why you want to go, or more like a job interview? I suppose it depends on your interviewer, but I'd like to prepare however I can.

Ditto on dates, the feeling, everything I'm overseas and had a fun time trying to explain to my parents how I'm 99% certain that I will be getting a letter soon, even though NO I didn't receive an e-mail from them and NO there was no indication on my status checker that I'd been accepted haha...Ludacrispat26 wrote:same exact story. when that box appeared, it felt GOODneonx wrote:Ahhh! This is correct, nothing to worry about if you can't access the website. If you received an email with a username and password, you should be good.Spykuh wrote:same with the email but the login not working. i think a few pages ago people said last week that they weren't able to access it until like friday?
My interview was pretty casual (we met at a Denny's), but some have been a little bit more formal. I say dress appropriately for the venue, and try to gauge how relaxed the interviewer is. I'm having a follow up lunch with mine today, so he was actually pretty cool.bostonlawchick wrote:

So my last update was 11/16 requesting an interview. My interview was 11/30 and I haven't been updated since. I thought the interview went extremely well, but I still haven't been updated since then.
Oh well...good luck and congrats to everyone in this thread!

Came back from vacation to a GULC letter in my mailbox . I was 11/17, 11/19, 11/29, 12/9, 12/13--I was able to generate a username and password on 12/14 in the morning. However, the username/password combo took about 24 hrs. to start working.

Will GULC 100% stick to their ED timeline? Friday is the three week mark for me and I am beginning to get a little worried that they won't get back to me before the Holidays.

I'm at 12/16 complete. My status checker has updated at least three times prior to this date. Anyone from this camp hear back yet?

If you haven't yet I think you won't here back until next year. Your 3 week mark falls after their break begins so that may be how they will take longer than 3 weeks without breaking that policy.PU2011 wrote:Will GULC 100% stick to their ED timeline? Maybe group interviews because they have more applicants?
Are the group interviews with admissions staff or alums?

Hmm, seems like the group interview requestees all have very similar stats, 3.8-3.9/168-169. Hope you guys all kill your interviews.

Re: GULC Waiting Thread
It isn't good or bad; he comes by certain schools to do these interviews and get to know students. He came to my school a few months ago, before I had even applied, and I was able to attend and meet him. The interview itself is kind of a joke, so don't sweat it it all. Just show up and don't say anything stupid. Cornblatt seemed like a pretty good dude.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
