alright i have some work to do. this waiting really cuts down my productivity. this whole app process can drive one insane. every time a phone vibrates within 100 feet of me, i think penn? i am not attracted to women anymore or money or food. only penn.

My UCR date changed to 12/9/2010. I am an ED applicant with a 167 and 3.91.

Seeing the other acceptances with similar numbers to me, give me hope but also seeing those numbers make me worried that I won't be accepted because they do have similar numbers. Ugh, now the waiting will me make sick...

Just got the email requesting fall grades. If I pull of a 4.0 again like I should and they still reject me I will be super upset they gave me hope lol

It says its on hold and to update my application.
Problem is I already sent in an additional essay and updated resume.
Also, I tried to call to verify and was sent to a message saying the office was closed today.

whoa, my phone interview will be on tomorrow! wish i can get my voice back... and stop sneezing....

If you have no real preference between UVA and Penn, then yeah, I would ED to UVA.

i do have a preference, but i feel like being held, my odds are well below 50 so the safe access to a good school might be UVA. not like my fall grades will be spectacular working 40 hrs a week anyway. i might be able to negotiate some higher grades with my professors if i mention the circumstances, but who knows?

please don't quote this. this post is probably not something i want coming back to bite me.

but typically if i didn't get in ED, why would i get in RD? makes no sense.

yup. in all likelihood a rejection/WL, but since they only call in the morning/afternoon, part of me is still hoping and praying.

I didn't go UCR until 12/6, 12/7 so I'm holding out hope for Friday.. Then I will probably give up/sob.
