ED? If you were this goes to show just how much of a numbers game it is---with 170 most likley in....with 3.9+ GPA in...but below both medians surely out....im sure youll get in to plenty of other good schools though

while it was 8:30 on the west coast
i was taking a final and finished 2 hours later

listened to the voicemail. INNNNN

170/3.27 (engineering with huge upward trend junior year)

out of curiosity, are the people who have gotten answers in possession of last names starting in letters towards the beginning of the alphabet, and responseless individual's from P-Z?

here's my new theory:

two+ readers have already accessed most of our files in isolation. from now until dec. x, some sort of committee is meeting to compare the notes of the different readers. that meeting happens in the morning. shortly following the meeting they will call admits, email dings and waitlists.

this will happen for the next week or so.

wow i've never heard of Penn doing that. this cycle keeps on getting more and more interesting for those of us still waiting

are these 12-25 ED in's a science or just what's happened? does penn have an exact # they stick to?

it seems likely most ED's are totally out, but figure EDing is this act of God and apply with 3.5s and 165s left and right. is it possible this year has more good applicants so most will get in?
