I'm an 1/24 UR (first UR). Submission on 1/10.
It seems like Duke can take awhile to respond to those not on the PT. Either way, you guys are making it hard for me to not check my email constantly today!! Ugh, Duke's 7 days a week app review keeps you on the edge...
Sorry to hear about the waitlists today, and congrats to the new admits!

It seems like people have heard back from Duke on Saturdays and Sundays, meaning you could very well get a decision over the weekend. I'm almost sorry I told you - before I knew, weekends were like a "break" from obsessive status checking/email checking.

Still UR and waiting...
Visited and took a tour recently, highly encourage anyone that isn't sure about Duke to visit. Everyone was very friendly, typical great southern weather, learned a lot about what they offer in one of my areas of legal interest and just a great experience overall, very persuasive.

Had my first "law school admissions" dream last night - and it was about Duke. Very odd since, at this point, I've almost completely stopped caring about Duke (at least consciously apparently!). Dreamt that a woman called me, told me she was from the admissions office, and she just started laughing... well, not full-belly laughing, but not quite chuckling. Somewhere in-between.
I think I'm ready for this whole process to be over.

I had my UR date updated on 2/3, and it was updated again yesterday, 2/20. Any thoughts? An acceptance would send me on a nice trip south...

Is there a point to sending a LOCI in before next month when they start to see how many people reserve seats? Do people ever get off WL before that?

What are you planning on getting your MA in? I applied for that as well (English - I know; it's just for fun and to keep me sane). But I'm still sitting at 11/1 -> 2/7

English, no need to defend the decision. What are your numbers? You have some pretty good acceptances so far.

Supposedly on a rolling basis. Until last week on LSN no admits after Dec. 1 reported scholarship money. I was accepted middle of December RD and supposedly my scholly letter is being mailed tomorrow. A couple of others have reported the same.

Status update to 2/23 from 11/28. How can I rationalize believing this indicates acceptance haha?

I've also (finally!) been updated to 2/22 as of last night after being stuck around 1/16 for what felt like forever. My status still says under review though.
Duke doesn't have an accepted students website that you can sneak into before you know you got in (a la Michigan, GULC, NYU, etc.), right?
Edit: updated 2/22 not 2/23. Fixed above.
