Doubt they forgot about you but I'm going to go long and guess that something about your app was "iffy." Is one of your numbers below median? Are you a non-trad? Something else that would pop out?
I know that my (REALLY non traditional) application had them flummoxed - after being admitted, I heard that it went to committee and then back to Dean Brown's window sill repeatedly! - but take heart in that they are still trying to find a place for you. If they didn't WANT you, they would have rejected you long ago. :D

I was afraid of something like this happening to me, especially because the undergrad program I graduated from is so hard to explain to people (on top of having transferred out of a college that didn't give grades, etc.), etc. I think the saving grace for me was someone else that was in my program got into and went to Fordham (can we lovingly call it FU?) last year. I think it may have been possible that he went through explaining the program already and it was still somewhat in their mind. I would have loved to have seen all of the adcomms make sense out of my application materials.

I thought it was a nice day. Didn't really learn anything new, but they fed us well, the company was great, and the current students and faculty/staff were incredibly friendly. That said, I do wish there had been more professors in attendance, especially considering the way the alumni raved about how accessible and dedicated Fordham's faculty is.
Were you there for the reception? I walked in at the end to meet a couple of TLSers.
Oh, I definitely stuck around to take full advantage of the open bar and delicious food. Seriously, what made that chicken so good?
Anyyway, not sure if I met anyone from TLS or not. Wasn't quite sure how to bring that up in conversation.
haha I was so tempted to ask about TLS didnt know what to say either though..."so...you TLS?

Dude, TLS is a good way to bond IRL. :D

It IS weird when people ask "oh hey you know each other?" and the answer is basically "it's complicated."
This happened to me and Gotti this weekend at the ASD.

I've been trying to figure out if you're Stringer Bell or the Borough Pres. I'm on the fence.

Just got the "in" email. Is there a standard UN/PW for the admitted student website, or do I have to wait until they email me with the info?
