My 165 got me waitlisted...not so magical! My GPA sucks, but I'm an old, so I didn't think they'd weight it so heavily against me. Eh, oh well.Gotti wrote:165 seems to be Fordham's magic number for some reason. No one (well, non URM at least) under 165 got any money from them whatsoever. I was told my LSAT was too low.Stringer6 wrote:yea, i was shocked to get in with a 165/3.53+1 Totally agree. You should definetely not let someone from TLS convince you not to apply because although they may know a lot about the process, most of them are still 0L's. And numbers are certainly not everything.

Sorry guys I meant magic number for scholarship once actually in. They like high GPAs with lower LSAT scores, obv. It's what saved me

I'm still on my first complete. I just want them to reject me so that I don't feel pressure to make time to visit when I go to NYC this weekend.

Fordham, oh Fordham. WHY in the world did you send me an email response about applying for need-based aid, when in my original email, I told you that I DID? And you COMPLETELY ignored my request for an appointment. WTF. Looks like I'll have to call in.

Just got my financial aid package. Ugh, not great. I really don't know if I can justify the cost of Fordham.

Did you deposit yet? I just called the financial aid office and wanted to set up an appointment (honestly, it seemed like the easiest way to talk about their grants and the weird name-scholarship stuff they have going on) and I felt like I was inconveniencing the woman. She told me look at the website and call back later. lulz.

I sent an e-mail to the Director of Admissions earlier today to explain my financial concerns.
I'll post in here when I receive a response.
