For the admits, as far as you know, you didn't go in review, right?
Nope, not that I know of.
What does go in review mean?
I think just that they're reviewing it??

It's one of the status options for the LSAC status checker many schools, including Fordham, use. My Fordham status is currently "complete". Illinois is "complete; ready for review". OSU is "complete; under review".
msch0i was asking if the status changed from "complete" to "complete; under review" prior to changing to "accepted". It seems it didn't for those who have already been accepted.

Has anyone heard from them since the batch of decisions released on 10/1?

What were some numbers/stories of the people who got in already?

For those who may not have gotten in - did they offer/say anything about PT instead?

Judging by LSN, those who have gotten in already have a minimum of 168/3.77...

I don't think they've rejected anyone yet, actually. They admitted a few people who (in my opinion....) are a bit overqualified and applied early, but that's all that has happened. I think that it will be the beginning of November before any more decisions are handed out.

EBL1014 - Do you know if it would still be considered "early" by Fordham standards to submit Nov 1st - Nov 5th or is that going to be with the bulk of submissions?

I've seen on the forum that "early" is considered before Thanksgiving but for some reason I'm getting the impression that Fordham really stresses *early*. How do they define it?

The [non-binding] Early Action deadline was October 15, decision by December 15. Some outstanding applicants who applied in September were accepted October 1.

Thanks LWoods but I didnt really mean early in the sense of Early Action but like is it early by their standards...

Meaning when I submit on Nov 1st, would you considering my application on going complete on the early side still?

Also - are you in already or still waiting?

Looking at LSN, many who applied by November 1st last year got a decision by mid-December. Some didn't hear until January, though.

And, no, I applied in October, so I haven't heard anything yet.

Apply now and indicate that you are retaking in December. You can even request that they hold your application if you are afraid they wont.

I sent my app back in early October, but Im retaking this 167 in December so I sent them an email asking them to hold it until the scores come out in Jan.

Hi all, I'm applying this year!

I am a re-applicant. I applied last yr with a 163 and was rejected. :(

I have a 164 now. Don't know if that'll make any difference. Good luck to all!

Just wanted to wish everyone here good luck.

Word of advice, don't let the waiting game get to you. There's nothing more you can do to better your chances of admission (calling every 3 days really doesn't help). Just breathe and take it one day at a time (Easier said than done I know)

Feel free to PM me and ask any and all questions about the school (I'm a 1L) :D

I submitted my app last night, and it already says complete on the LSAC site. Does this mean they already looked at the app?

Unfortunately,no. It means LSAC most likely transmitted and Fordham electronically acknowledged receipt on the other end.

via email, although they said that a formal letter of admission was coming via snail mail.

Also, this is still early and most people shouldn't be discouraged if they applied around the same time as me and haven't heard anything yet. My email mentioned the following: " I am pleased that you are in our very early rounds of admissions offers for 2011."

My status checker did change, but I only checked it after receiving my email. I have strong numbers for Fordham -- 169, 4.0.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
