Accepted by UCLA exactly 2 weeks after app submitted. Received dean's scholarship. Was hoping that might be a promising sign for other schools, but you never know.Either way, I'm thrilled about UCLA and would totally go to law school in the beverly hills region.

Re: Berkeley 2011 applicants
Any sense that they've been going in any kind of order or using any sort of pattern at all? People getting responses today seem to have submission dates pretty much all over the map - though no january submissions that I saw (cursory glance at the posts I admit). I submitted 12/17, UR 12/20. No updates since, no CR, no ding email (yet), no phone call (would like to use my "yet" here but it's sadly already taken by the "ding email"). Wondering if it's possible they just haven't gotten to me at all yet?
Really I just want to know if I can stop staring fearfully at my computer screen while I obsessively refresh my inbox. arghhhhhh...

From your keyboard to Dean Tom's ears (or, however the cliche stretches to fit)... though my #'s fall right in the ranges getting hit today (169, 3.77). Have never felt particularly sanguine about getting this one.glitched wrote:If I were you, id keep my phone handy today. Re: Berkeley 2011 applicants
I knew that I really had a snowballs chance in hell of getting accepted even with my background, however, I spent the $75 and let it fly anyways. And now here I am refreshing my screen waiting for my ding. Who knows maybe I will end up in the wrong pile and get in. Good luck all.

The fact that they applied only 2 weeks ago and have been accepted is only slightly infuriating.LegallyBrunette3 wrote:Just to give you all some hope...looks like someone WAS ADMITTED today

Hey that's me! I was just coming to post here and never expected to see my profile linked already. My school list probably does seem strange, but you can also see that I'm nontrad...and there are a lot of strange considerations that go into applying to schools when you are 33, married, already have a full, very specific career, etc.

Sorry guys
Man, I don't understand why they let me in. People with far better numbers than me are being dinged which makes me think they really liked something about me
