I've been hesitating to post on this thread but hopefully my stats will make everyone a little more confident about their chances and show that the admissions process/timing is unpredictable. Submitted 11/21, UR 11/22, admitted 11/30 via phone w/Dean Tom. Stats: 167/3.99 Non-URM, in state. I wrote a customized personal statement for Berkeley. Totally shocked and thrilled to be in at my top choice, wish you all the best of luck. I'm a Bay Area native so if anyone has questions about location/where to live I'd be happy to answer them.

Your GPA didn't exactly inspire hope in me, but the post still warrants a sincere "Congratulations!"

Went to the dentist today with what I thought was a terrible toothache and she told me it is an acute jaw sprain from stress. I think when I can eat again it might be funny.

Undoubtedly true. To be fair, the stress is not only about admissions ....also about getting my (non-American) family back to the US.

Undoubtedly true. To be fair, the stress is not only about admissions ....also about getting my (non-American) family back to the US.

Hope you soon get a minute-long phone call that lessens the stress a bit!

Mine has always been blank. Maybe it was another school you remember? Most other schools have both received and complete emails listed.

It has been talked about in other threads that it is too early for rejections from the T14 schools.

Call them on Monday! They seriously have the nicest staff ever and will check on everything for you.

I think I was in the second faculty review batch and they told me in early Jan that they'd have an answer by early March.

non-trad/URM with a 3.4/161 that i am praying will be overlooked on account of my excellent LORs, PS, DS, and solid work experience... i've mentally prepared myself for a rejection, but there's a small part of me that is still hopeful!

I was accepted on 11/22. My status checker now lists "acceptance letter mailed 12/03" under my mailings list! So excited!
