Okay, so I know there was a blood bath on here last friday. And apparently some bleeding going on here today. When are the big dates for rejections. I gathered that 2/18 is a big one for rejections. Is there a UR reject date and CR reject dates. And when does good news come, at random?

Dinged. Submitted 2nd week of January. Disappointed, but that's what I get for procrastinating. If you'd like numbers, feel free to PM me. To everyone still waiting, I hope you hear good news soon!

Is it over? Or do I still need to avoid my email?

I feel like with my numbers, I should have gotten CR at least... perhaps that's being presumptuous, maybe something about my app just sucked to them, but since I got into UCLA with a dean's scholarship, I assumed my app was at least halfway decent... oh well... :/

What are your numbers?

Annoying question...

Berkeley dings via email. But do they accept only via email? I've heard conflicting things on this board. Some people say they call, others say they only email all correspondence to be "green".

Also, sorry to everyone who got dinged today. I'm sure I'll be joining you shortly!

Even more annoying question...has anyone been dinged so far who was already in CR, or are they not releasing any decisions from CR yet? Not that this will do anything to assuage my impending sense of doom.

they do both, depending on how they feel. the first batches of acceptances were via phonecall, but i think very few calls have been made since (instead, people have been accepted via email). so, be prepared for either if you're accepted!

what has been the subject header for email acceptances? Is it different from the rejection header? (I'm assuming it says something like "Berkeley Law School Admission Decision")

Sorry to hear. Why didn't you guys apply earlier? I think this is one school where applying really early is paramount since administrative review pretty much get finished by Jan. Seats are pretty filled post-Christmas.
