haha. I can bring you one :) and I'm down to drive everyone. I love to drive (even after a 4 hour trip) but you MAY have to listen to T. Swift. Jussayin.

Thai food is a gift from our maker. Don't get me started on saki bombs!

FSU has really surprised me with the scholarship offer when I step back and analyze it. Saving $20,000 is badass, especially with no stipulations and the fact that I want to practice small-mid or government law. Literally the only thing giving me second thoughts is leaving my lady, but after speaking with enough people on TLS that have done the long distance thing they convinced me as long as I manage my time correctly I can head down as much as one weekend a month.

Well your LSAT is at median, and gpa is slightly above 25%. I wouldn't say you have no shot..probably a decent chance. However, (making a huge assumption here, based on your username) I'd guess you go to FSU undergrad? For some reason, Florida State is kind of known for not accepting many applicants from its undergrad institution. Unless your numbers are superb, it could work against you.

Does anybody know if you'll be notified if you DON'T get scholarship money? That is, if they've reviewed your financial aid app and you don't get anything - do they let you know? Just curious because I sent my scholly app on February 3rd and haven't heard. What was your timeframe?

About two months. FSU has seemingly been very generous with scholarship money, so I wouldn't worry too much. Given your previous posts, I sure as hell hope you didn't apply to Emory, otherwise you might be reenacting your avatar lol.

The message some people a scholarship application to fill out. I don't think everyoen gets it-- but if you get it you are a strong contendor for $$ for sure. Don't give up hope though bc I don't recall getting mine til a bit after I was accepted.

and 162/3.34 would have been in for sure had you applied early. I still think you'll end up in, but theres a chance you'll get waitlisted since its very late in the game.

let's all meet in the Doubletree Lobby (those of us that are there plus anyone that wants to come for cookies!) and then we can drive to thai/meet the rest of the group after we figure out where that is...

yay? nay?

Sounds good. Someone should just put up a "TLS" sign at the restaurant table lol.

I take it FSU won't reimburse me for saki bombs?

the email said itemized receipts for food up to $20.00 per day. I'd be willing to debate the definition of "food." :)

7:30 sounds good for me. Do we have a general idea of how many people are meeting up? CHECK IN, PEOPLE.

Geeez sorry people I can't stalk this thread all day at work haha. I'm in!! Thai restaurant closes at 9 or 10 I think, if that is still what everyone has voted on doing for dinner. I'm also down to get some drinks someplace after! I can meet people at the DT lobby, give directions/rides to the restaurant, whatever everyone wants to do.

PS: Received $36k scholly offer today!!

PPS: I don't know that this restaurant serves saki... however there are some sushi places around here that DEFINITELY do.

I'm in provided my FSU friend isnt busy. I'll probably be taking a nap at the Doubletree once I check in because I will have driven over 1500 miles in the past 5 days.

Hey everyone I'm driving up from Orlando tomorrow. I would really like to met up and go to dinner with everyone tomorrow night. I am staying at the Howard Johnson. I don't think that is too far from the Double Tree. So what time is everyone meeting up in the lobby???
