Top Law Schools

Does anyone know if Pitt helps people find roommates? My family lives in Pittsburgh and I could stay with them but I really don't want to do that. And I am not looking to spend the money for a 1 bedroom apt. It would be nice if they had some kind of system to help out in this process.

Thanks! Yeah, it was weird that they putt people in review on 1/19 and 1/20... still got a little bit left today to obsessive compulsively click refresh... lol good luck!

They should have (at some point) a class of 2014 pitt law facebook group. Last year, a lot of people solicited others for potential roommates on there. Otherwise, I don't think they do much in the way of helping you find a roommate.

The will open up the Pitt Law 2014 facebook group soon after they admitted the majority of the class and the majority of the people I know that have roommates got them from there.

Congrats all ! Crap, I am UR 1/19 as well so I'm veryyy anxiously awaiting a result!

I emailed them to withdraw, given that I'd been UR since 12/8 and emailed them and hadn't heard a word. When I emailed to withdraw my application from consideration they said "We're sorry to hear you won't be accepting our offer for admission...." NO ONE EVER ADMITTED ME. EVER. Not that it changes my decision, but come on. Seriously.

Sorry about your experience with them and thanks for opening up a seat! No, seriously, I guess with over 2K applications that sometimes one doesn't get processed correctly. Perhaps you are meant to go somewhere else as cliche as it sounds...

I'm UR 1/20 and still nothing. Congrats though.

I actually found my roommate here on TLS. Once it's settled who will definitely be matriculating, it's not the worst option. We happened to get lucky and get along really well.

I know you guys have prolly posted this before, but would you mind sharing your stats for those of us still stuck in purgatory.

I bet you guys who went UR 1/19 and 1/20 will probably hear sometime this week. It's a process - first review and decide and then get clerks to set the status to admitted (hopefully).

Do they email you to check your status checker? Or should I continue hitting the refresh button every five seconds?

I know for most schools it's 6-8 weeks after going complete/under review, is Pitt like that? I've been under review since 1/20
