If the kid is in Mahoney's class, they can watch me doing everything I can to not pay attention. I'm thinking it'll be a combination of TLS, facebook and flash games, interspersed with berating Bedsole on Gchat.

I think most of us are going to a meeting at 12, but we can probably hang out for 10 mins or so after class. I'll find Bedsole and BarbellDreams after class.

EDIT: LeDique, I PMed you.

I stayed at the Wyndham when I visited. I stayed at Shadyside Inn when I came back up to move in.

Have you been in contact with the financial aid office/shown them the Syracuse offer. Showing strong interest in the school and letting them know how much cost matters in picking a school (especially when the school is in your top 3) should certainly help.

I went from $0 to a bunch relatively quickly. In talking with the director of admissions, they only accept people they really want to come, so stress how much cost will affect your decision.

Regarding hotels, I stayed in a Quality Inn close to campus when I visited, it was cheap, but it wasn't that nice.

There's a Wyndam only a few blocks from campus that's probably the nicest hotel close to campus, but it's probably pretty expensive too.

Of course you did. If you can afford $850 for that ridiculous racing suit you wear around every day, you can afford to stay in a Wyndam...

Quoted for non-accuracy. I was there, 10 mins early even.

For anyone else visiting, I can verify that the TLS users in that Crim Pro class did not rape/kill/otherwise molest me. In fact, they were quite friendly.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
