Still hanging out on the WL. Wrote another LOCI last week. Anyone know when the next deposits are due?

I'm also still on the UTK Waitlist. I sent an additional LOCI last week along with an additional LOR, hopefully they'll be enough to take me off the list.

I'm hanging with you on the WL...The next deposit is due on June 1. I'm a long shot WLer though.

Yes, the next seat deposit date is June 1. I would expect a lot of movement around there because apparently their first seat deposit wasn't very binding and they deferred a lot of people from the last seat deposit date and just made them pay double on the June 1 one, which all of us who were pulled off the waitlist after the 1st seat deposit was due had to do anyway. So there's hope for you WLers yet! Good luck!

Reception was great. Terrific views of Nashville up there, and the Dean gave a little talk that I thought was well done. Most of the alums I met were very smart and very down to earth.

Sooo...did everybody get the final deposits in by yesterday? Anybody withdraw...or planning to withdraw? Please forgive me, this whole waitlisting thing has me on pins and needles.

Did you get a full ride or did you get one of those TA gigs that basically gives you a full ride? UConn eh? Good basketaball up there. I guess you are wanting to work in Connecticut so it is probably the obvious choice.

It was the Law Scholar and Research Associate award that covers tuition, insurance, and stipend. No teaching involved just research. I'm from the northeast so UConn makes more sense.

It's possible that someone else could end up getting mine. I don't think they gave out more than a few and as far as I know, no one else who got it is actually attending.

They do, they name alternate recipients and I was one..but I withdrew awhile ago... as by now I imagine most folks who received one did.. they really didn't communicate at all with me regarding the alternate list...
