With all due respect, you need a hobby.

To be fair, I've only been checking before and after my classes today. And it's a procrastination tool to avoid a paper I have due tomorrow :(

Also, am checking way less than yesterday. Baby steps :(

TLS might be the greatest procrastination tool I have discovered yet...

From the AD interview from the question "Can you walk our readers through the application process at UMich Law – from beginning to end? Who gets involved in the admissions process and what characteristics are you looking at when deciding who gets accepted and who gets denied?"

The offer letters I also sign myself and those go out on almost a daily basis – I can’t do too many of those every day because I like to make personal notes and review the file one last time just to make sure. I’d say I end up sending out about 20 to 25 offer letters per day, three times a week. And then, about a week after the offer letter goes out, I go back and make any merit aid decision with respect to that applicant.

So, does the fact hat my status has yet to update, considering this is the first weekday in weeks it hasnt updated early in the morning, bode well for the prospects of getting "Decision" today?

Submitted on 11/4 for ED, haven't gotten the email yet concerning the status checker.

What do you all think my chances are for meeting the 11/15 ED completion date? I'm getting pretty nervous about not making it.

I'm pretty sure no one's statuses'll change at this point, especially since the workday's over.

It took 3ish weeks to get my status checker, but I applied in September. Perhaps they are providing them quicker now. Posted in response to your ED question in the other Michigan thread.

Looks like the "decisions once a week" rumor seems to be holding up... :(

Fixed.

Although, last year, people could log into admitted website despite having their status checker at completed. Perhaps you can try this occasionally.

Not trying to cast doubt on Dean Z's answer. However, there is a possibility that Dean Z signs every letter, three times a week. Then, send them out together at the end of a week. Since at the beginning of the cycle, there are fewer applicants, hence, fewer admitted, it will be more efficient to send all decision letters once per week. As the cycle picks up, more admitted per week, and the admission office sends them out more frequent.

She does say "[offer letters] go out on almost a daily basis." But I see what you're saying.

Yeah, I used to work for a place where we had to send out advertisement packages every two weeks or so. And the process of copying, printing, and putting things into large envelopes are more time consuming and painful than signing letter.

I can be wrong though, so people should keep checking their status checker and admitted student site.

But not too much, since they can see/get annoyed at people completely stalking the admitted student site.

She is amazing. I am pretty much obsessed with her/her blog. It's a problem.

This video for Mich Law came with the flashdrive. I watched the camera interview a bunch of the people there, and I'm like, "Wait, these are real people?"
