I mean, I've known I was in since 12/8, but the package just made it real. But, thanks :)
P.S. Also got Cornell acceptance package at the same time. Note to Cornell: winning prospective students over, you're doing it wrong.[/quote]

Agreed. Was very excited about Cornell but the package was a little... blah... Wrong thread I know.

Went to Ann Arbor this weekend to visit a friend in grad school. Walked around the law school. Just so you guys know, while you're in the quad you can perform a dozen and a half wizarding spells including Lumos to look more closely at the stained class windows. True story.

I received an email to start checking the online status on Wednesday 15th.
How long would it take to get a decision? any guess? (I'm RD)

i know there's a whole thread devoted to this topic but wondering if anyone here has been complete almost 2 mos (end October) with pretty solid #s and hasn't gotten in?? Getting nervous! I was fairly confident in my chances, arghhh.

(above 75th LSAT, slightly below median GPA :/)

I'm well above their LSAT 75th and a hair below their GPA 25th and complete since 10/20 with nothing. I'm afraid that's not going to give you much comfort.

Ha, yes, we're over in our own sulking thread from being complete since 10/26. But seriously, none of us can offer a reasonable theory as to why it's taking so long...
maybe they really do accept people in the more middle range first and then review YP-ish types (event hough I wouldn't have thrown myself in that category, it's more of a regular target for me..LSP gave me 69% and I got Duke which LSP gave me a lower likelihood) later....?

Very possible. Though apparently in an interview Dean Z (pbuh) said that Michigan doesn't really do YP. We mostly just find obscure cases from LSN history of people with similar submit dates being admitted around Christmas. I'm hoping for both of us!
awww thanks, sean! Wow, your #s are very impressive. If you don't get in, there's no hope!!! haha. Congrats on NYU btw - my ultimate dream school - still pining after it!

Haha you do realize that she will have no impact on you after admission right?

It updates daily.

ETA: check the admitted site once in a while, it is more meaningful than the checker.
