Michigan 2011
As a summer starter I thought it'd be appropriate to start a thread for prospective Wolverines. Good luck!

I got an email from UMich on 10/6 with the following:
"We’re happy to tell you that your University of Michigan Law School application is now far enough advanced in the processing stage for you to use our Online Status Checker, which will help keep you informed about the status of your application. Among other things, the Online Status Checker will indicate immediately when your application has become complete and is under review by our staff. It will also indicate when your application has received a final decision Due to privacy concerns, though, we will not show what the decision is; to minimize anxiety, the final-decision indicator won’t appear until a couple of days after a decision letter has already been mailed. We are not able to release decision outcomes by telephone."
Status checker shows I went complete today, 10/19.

I got a complete email 9/30 and still haven't received a status checker. How much longer should I wait before emailing them?

Same deal for me...the email said 3-4 weeks, so I was going to give it until the beginning of next week before I checked in.vicuna wrote:I got a complete email 9/30 and still haven't received a status checker. How much longer should I wait before emailing them?

Just got my status checker as well, submitted 10/6. Says I'm complete, and then under that in the little glossary, it says that complete = under review. So am I right in thinking I'm under review?

I'm so frustrated. I know LSAC got my transcripts last week but they haven't processed them yet. Thats the only thing I'm waiting on to go complete! They also got my last rec on Friday, and nadda. They're evil.Knockglock wrote:Complete as well!!!cigrainger wrote:Just got my status checker as well, submitted 10/6. Got my status checker today, and it's complete.
In the status checker, it says that it can take up to 5 weeks to process. I applied pretty early too, but just got mine today. I think you should wait until next week before contacting them.vicuna wrote:Hm, I still haven't. Submitted 9/25. I'd only be concerned if you didn't get an "application received" email. If not, wait a bit

Why do so many schools seem to just send everything out in waves like this?

I'm pretty sure this is correct. Only school I used the supplemental forms for LORs was S, and it was optional.silly101 wrote:sorry if this has been answered somewhere, but
