I also made the wait list, but as you can see by my numbers (3.5/161/URM) I am shocked, UMich was my huge reach...Good luck to the rest of you in the process

Its not just splitters - I'm a 174, 3.85 plus also submitted in November with the optional essays. I'm not going to say its YP (I have no idea) only that I wonder what Michigan didn't like that Columbia, NYU, Berkeley, Penn, Duke, NW etc did...

Oh well admissions is a mysterious process - would have loved to visit Ann Arbor and consider Michigan but thats how it goes. Sorry to all my fellow 2/25 waitlisted and good luck to anyone still waiting.

Joining the popping WL club haha. 172 and median GPA i think. Withdrawing soon. But the email was very friendly :)

And submitted in september but no extra essays

No Why Mich, which may have been it for me. Not necessarily YP in my case, but definitely for some of you.

Waitlisted as well. UR 12/6 171/3.8.

Michigan is probably my top choice, so I really hope they take some people of the WL.

Waitlisted as well. GPA > 75th, LSAT ~ median.

Will be withdrawing shortly. Not that disappointed, it's too cold up there anyway.

I don't think they believed you. haha I think a lot of the WLs from today are YP. If you're still interested send in a LOCI...they'll probably let you in. :wink:

Why am I always last to find ANYTHING out?

Got my Texas ED decision January 30, 2 months after most.

Got my Vandy decision in February after submitting 10/15 and watching people get accepted who applied months after me.

Sitting at 10/18 submissions to Michigan and NYU, and 12/6 to Berkeley (watched people get WLed, Accepted, Dinged, sent to CR, and still nothing)

Agh. Michigan, just send me the WL already and stop teasing me.

Waitlisted as well, LSAT over 75%, GPA under 25%, wrote a Why essay. Oh well, I was almost certainly going to pick C or N over them anyway.

WL email here too. Definitely disappointed- I would've considered them with $$$ but guess it won't be an option as I'll be withdrawing....
