I actually noticed this too and was surprised to get in since around my dot seems to be lots of yellow dots. Maybe they were more holistic this year?

Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't look too much different than last years graph (albeit a bit less filled in). Keep in mind Chicago's class is tiny compared to a lot of other T14 schools, so I imagine they use the WL a bit more than peer schools because it would be easier for them to over-enroll. That's just a guess, though.

Yeah it does look that way... except for the few outliers with near 4.0 gpas being waitlisted as well. So who knows what they're doing. I'd definitely write a LOCI though if you're seriously interested in going, maybe they'll be taking a lot from the waitlist this year.

Definitely am, definitely will. If their WL-->Admits are anything like the 2009 cycle, there is hope.

Hmm, I was complete since 1/11, then went UR 2/9-->2/11. I thought there was usually more space between the first two review dates, with the second and third being closer together? Aaaaaah I give up trying to decode these things.
