UChi seems to announce their decisions in big batches once a month. 1/10 was a big day, 2/10 was a big day, and my guess is that 3/10 will be also be a big day. Take a peek at the UChi LSN data from last year to get a sense of what I mean.

So are we pretty much expecting the big wave to roll in on Thursday? I know about the date trend, but haven't they announced the last two in advance?

I think so, if patterns from the last two months continue. There were decision on 1/10 and 2/10. I had been Under Review 2/14 forever, but on Monday when I checked, it had changed to Under Review 3/06.

Waiting on Chicago is kind of terrible. So far I've gotten 5 acceptances, 1 rejection, and 1 waitlist, but the WL and the R were schools I didn't really care for. The ding from Chicago's actually gonna sting!

I was anxious for a decision today, but anxious in a good way. I would like to know sooner rather than later so I know what options are on the table. I love U-Chi and it would definitely be a game changer...

But anyway, yeah, I have no idea what that means... last year they released decisions on 3/10, I believe (according to LSN), and the 10th of the month tends to be when they release them. But it seems like usually they'll announce something on twitter, and we haven't seen anything in the last 2 days. I did, however, have my UR date updated from 2/14 to 3/06 this week...

They mean their students are on break. The tweet is to a mac and cheese truck that is going around Chicago. This week is Chicago finals and next 2 weeks are spring break.
