My guess would be the date before 1/7 is the more significant. For instance, I saw a couple solid applicants' last admit dates were <in December>. I don't know about my fellow 1/5ers. This is baseless speculation, but a fun way to pass the next few days.

Frustrating - submitted in November, UR 12/23 and nothing else, 3.7/176. someone with 170/3.75, submitted november has 12/23 -> 1/4 -> 1/7. Hopefully thats good news and mine will follow in a couple weeks!
