ED applicant here. Still keeping up hopes for a call.

'Twas two days before Christmas, when all through my home
Not a ringer was ringing, no noise from my phone;
The application was proofread and submitted with care,
In hopes that an acceptance soon would be there;
Addendums attached and LORs solicited,
In hopes that a scholarship would thus be elicited;
Wife in Christmas sweater, my son taking a nap,
I log on to Chicago to check on my app.:

Think back to your visit in 2007,
When you saw that attending would be just like heaven.
With luck, admissions might alight on this post,
And lift to my law application a toast,
Exclaiming, “How could we pass this one by?!”
“Admit him!” would become their rallying cry.
Though it’s true a rejection would leave me quite sad,
I don’t think my numbers themselves are half-bad.
Oh well, what’s to do, alea iacta est

I'm sorry because I'm sure this has already been covered, but does the Chicago status update every day? I haven't checked this one at all because I didn't expect a decision for a long time, but I just checked and now I'm at 12/23 (maybe they'll decide not to waste any more of my time and just reject me already haha)

It does not... I'm not sure what the date change means but I also went UR 12/2->12/23!

+1 last year when the ones that were stuck finally changed they got admitted.. buuut it was with phone calls and that clearly isn't happening today, lol

haha I'm about 99.9% certain this at least isn't the case for me...I'm pretty much an auto-reject, I just applied for the giggles (although since rejection letters aren't particularly fun, I'm starting to think I might just have some issues...)

i'm with you af. 3 months ago i was like heyyy it will be fun just to see where i might have a chance in hell. now i'm practically losing it because i haven't heard back from so many places - can't wait until i actually get a rejection or two (or seven)
