Same here. Went for it on the first call to show how "articulate" I am. A follow-up email was required. Much different than the JR1 where I rehearsed answers in the shower.

Haha so true. My JR1 was literally recited from memory.

I actually only agreed to do it on the spot because by "I have a few questions about your application" I thought she meant "Is the current address I have listed correct?" and not "So.... Why Chicago?"

It was so embarrassing. I was cringing afterward, but apparently it wasn't that bad.

aw, just let'em gloat for a little while, lol. if you're competitive enough, you'll get a scholly of some sort anyway. important thing to focus on is doing well in law school. after law school its your rank and school that matter.
