Bleargh! I'm going to hope that simply means they're just now going through scholarship piles and yours was at the top because it was early.

OK- who wants to jump aboard the wild speculation train? My status updated to today's date, but nothing new is listed under mailings. But, I haven't been checking my status checker since admission so maybe it does this alot? I'm thinking maybe it could mean that they are looking at other files for scholarship consideration, anyone care to take a guess?

Interesting- earlier this week my status read: Decision made: check for email (which it has said since I was admitted in September) Now it reads: Decision sent. But no new mailings.

Veeery interesting.

Scholarship form sent in early December, FWIW

I got a letter today from the dean at Duke Law. I was excited that it might be a scholarship letter or something. Instead it was a letter from the dean telling me to attend Duke with some copies of an article he wrote for Duke Law Review. Anyone else get this package?

I got it too.

Just got another one, this time from a professor who defended Ted Bundy in court (loss the trial, Bundy was executed). It's nice to receive LOCI's from schools rather than other schools who haven't acknowledged my apps.

I spoke with Duke Admissions this morning. They told me the scholarship committee is currently considering individuals whose scholarship forms were received in December, but that they move fairly quickly. My form was not received until late January, and she told me to check back in 2 weeks.

Scholarship decision mailed! Aaaand of course my dad's out of town so no one's there to get the mail, lol.

Oh no! I would go crazy. I'm already going crazy and I CAN get my mail. Mailed yesterday, form received 12/10 for anyone keeping track.

My status just updated to "decision made". Nothing new under mailings. Anyone else have just that change and receive a scholarship or is it a "decision made...STICKER"

mine did that before it changed to scholarship decision sent, it took 3-4 days for it to change I think.

I had the same thing happen to me on 2/25. Today (2/28) I had an update to Scholarship Decision Mailed, but strangely, dated 3/1. So hopefully I will get some happy news in the mail by Friday.

For those keeping track, I was complete 12/16, accepted 12/24 (Merry Christmas to me!), scholarship form received 1/13.
