Congrats! Being accepted so soon after being WL -- sounds like they really wanted you and were just making sure they had a spot in their class.

Based on UCLA's response time thus far this cycle I suspect they will have a very broad definition of "mid-May"

with thousands of applications, maybe they mispalced a few? i am seriously suspecting this as a possibility...

Congrats! Both are great options, but $ and "fit" would probably be the deciding factors. I'm asuming you've gotten some $ at USC -- is UCLA going to offer any money?

Just called them actually and the woman literally said "hmph" when my info popped up on her screen.

She said she'd try to get back to me via e-mail since I am abroad by the end of the day with an update on my status OR a possible decision.

Went complete 11/3.

Full disclosure - I am on the WL....BUT, i completely agree that there is no reason RD applicants should not have heard back at all given that it is the end of May already.

Have we received any more decisions here (RD or WL)?

EDIT: Just got in off the WL. Now just hoping they have some $ still available.

I think WL and rejections are sent by email. Acceptances are by phone call.
