Wtf UCLA, still no word whatsoever and I submitted early last November. I have already got into several T14s including a T6, do you guys know what's up with the UCLA admissions office?

Do you really care? I mean would you really be considering UCLA over the T14s?dpk711 wrote:Wtf UCLA, still no word whatsoever and I submitted early last November. I have already got into several T14s including a T6, do you guys know what's up with the UCLA admissions office?
I agree that they are slow, but in your situation I just don't see that it matters.

I guess that they really love that high GPA although all applicants with my numbers have either got accepted or waitlisted on lsn.fingersxd wrote:Do you really care? Re: UCLA? 2011
Hey everyone,
I was waitlisted back in January, my numbers are 165/3.6, double URM, trilingual, with a unique background, strong softs including a lot of community service and two stints in the legal arena, and what I consider to be a good PS. Clearly my numbers are well below their median, so I'm attributing my WL status to my softs.
Would bumping my LSAT score between 2 to 4 points this June have any effect on my chances of admission?

Yes. I specifically asked an adcom if retaking in June and getting a higher score might help with getting off the waitlist. The answer is yes, given that ur still waitlisted then and not rejected.Negativezero wrote:Hey everyone,

Re: UCLA? 2011
I noticed on LSN that someone changed their status for UCLA to WL,Accepted. Is UCLA already looking at the waitlist and taking people from it??? I know someone posted on this board a few days ago that they were waitlisted and then a week later got a call from Dean Schwartz saying the ad comm changed its mind.
Anyone know of any others being accepted off of the WL??

Word on the street is that we're all SOL. The class has been filled, and around this time last year, anything beyond 1&2nd week of April are rejections.samilabuena wrote:And it looks like a whole hell of a lot of us are in it for a photo finish.Clinkz wrote:Next week is the very last week UCLA will notify us right?
