Looking at LSN, I would guess more acceptances will be coming. I believe there were even decision dates posted between Christmas and New Year's, which whether that is the date they received the letter or the date of the letter, both would suggest more acceptances are on their way at some point between now and Christmas.

I just checked LSN - that's a lot of acceptances. the hope for me (10/22 UR) increasingly dwindling by every minute.

There were almost 2 full pages of December decisions last year. Currently there is less than 1 page of December decisions for this cycle. More acceptances are coming, a lot more.

True, but how many of them are going to be for us early submitters?

Ah, I never thought of it that way. I was just depressed to see people with my numbers (very few) who got in and applied later than I did. There's still a sliver of hope. Thanks.

More depressing would be seeing that no one with your numbers had been accepted. You should be encouraged to see that it's possible that a purple envelope will turn up one of these days! :)

It's even worse going into the holiday break not being UR yet.

Thanks... but again, back to the depressed me, everyone who's admitted in the latter half of december is Nov or Dec submissions (based on LSN)

OMG.

Just checked the status checker and says "the decision letter sent".

Really nervous right now... they must have loved my ps or hated it enough to send me the letter so quick...

Are there any RDs who got rejections yet...?

Nope! Is your Decision Sent date 12/9? (Or 12/3 or 12/6?) If so, you should be good to assume you're accepted. If it's a different date... let us know!

Hey Excellence! Thank you for your reply! Yes the date is 12/9. I am abroad and cannot expect the letter to arrive soon. Should've checked this a week later or so to avoid agony of checking the mailbox everyday from now on.

Do people go under review any earlier if they applied for one of the named scholarships? I'm just thinking I saw some of you who applied before Thanksgiving and aren't under review yet, but I applied 11/30 and went under review 12/9. Could it be that they want to get the scholarship apps out of the way first since they put a deadline on their submission? (I mean it could also be that I was just in a lucky pile, but I was wondering.)

I did not apply for a scholarship but I went under review pretty quickly and got a decision quickly as well.
