Well, I hope whatever it takes for you to go to NYU happens, I would love to be classmates. Actually, I would prefer your letter from SLS to be an acceptance, or at least a WL that you can get off of over the summer.

I must say it's amazing to see everyone wishing me get into Stanford. I don't really feel too positive about these last three, but would love to be surprised. Regardless, can't go wrong with what I got now

They are so many people I would love to be classmates with, I wish we could just have a massive TLS law school that's ranked #4

(I would give due respect to HYS)

Haha, gotta pay respect! And yeah, there are so many good people on here, I've really appreciated everyone's contributions. TLS is a very interesting place, but I don't know what I would have done without it. I certainly wouldn't have the options I have in front of me right now.

I've heard that NYU sends denials by email and acceptances by mail. My status is now "decision letter sent" so I'm trying to guess what that means and obviously hoping for good news.

Does anyone know how they send waitlist notifications??

Finally DLS 4/11 after going UR 11/24. Expecting a WL. In NYC so will let all you other 4/11 DLS what the outcome is...

I am not sure whether you are being pessimistic or I am being optimistic. 4/11 DLS after 10/22 UR and I actually am hoping (and 51% believe) it's good news.

I got into Stern yesterday as a joint-degree applicant, the same day NYU Law went DLS. I am also in NYC, will share with you as well.

Thanks r6. A situation is a bit complicated (will explain late); I think it'll be a tough choice to not accept.

I sent a Why NYU LOCI in March...even though I had a Why NYU in my PS as well.

Being pessimistic because NYU was among my top choices when I first applied (and once had lofty dreams of an RTK invite). At this point, even a positive decision is too little too late...have multiple scholarship deadlines this week and doubt NYU will be able to provide financial aid info in time.
