Hah yea I don't think I have too great a shot either, that's why I ED'ed. Definitely can't blame late apps this time though, huh...

172/3.5x. The 172 was a retake though, which I'm afraid is going to screw me for NYU. How about yours?

My numbers are 3.22/180. I too will be doing ED for NYU, since I'm definitely out at CLS even with ED.

The elusive triple 180 is probably auto-admit at HYS.

I applied for one of them, yea, but I feel like they save those for outstanding applicants, of which I am not one.

Why do you say that? Although I am not sure if I am one in the eye of NYU neither.

Well, just b/c of borderline stats.

You planning on applying to one of those named scholarships?

I was looking at the Law and Business program, sounds pretty interesting as I am considering a joint JD/MBA or at least a business cert anyway. But since NYU gave me the only ding outside of HYS last year, I am not sure if I meet their standard. I do feel my app is much stronger this year (outside of my LSAT).

GPA is higher, new recommendations, better PS, new grad school, a couple things published, so just new softs. However I am applying in Sept. instead of late March so that's probably the biggest boost.

So like, don't we get an "application received" email or something? Or is NYU too hipster for such trendy nonsense

NYU seems to start looking at applications later than other places. It will likely eventually come but after most other places.

I don't think NYU always sends an application received email, but I'm not sure. I threw my hat in the ring recently, what's the earliest non-ED people find out?

The earliest RD decisions came out on December 1 last year at the same time as EDs.
