In that case, I think CLS probably thinks (correctly?) that you're bound elsewhere, my friend.

obviously: postmark?
Did you find out anything about those who went complete before Xmas but still have received nothing but silence?jd2014! wrote:So, guys. Just got done reading the Columbia 2010 thread and the (much briefer) 2010 Hold thread. It looks bad. Real bad. Unless they are significantly altering how they exercise the "hold" option this year, it looks like 90% of us are headed for reserve, 9% will get a ding, and maybe 1% will make it out alive. I didn't actually calculate these percentages, obviously, but I only saw 3 posters who were held and subsequently accepted. A few were rejected. all others were waitlisted.
they were all accepted.jtemp320 wrote:Did you find out anything about those who went complete before Xmas but still have received nothing but silence?jd2014! wrote:So, guys. Not even remotely true. Submitted in September, no e-mails, awaiting either VCE or rejection letter.glitched wrote:they were all accepted.jtemp320 wrote:Did you find out anything about those who went complete before Xmas but still have received nothing but silence?jd2014! wrote:So, guys. Cue Aerosmith - Dream On ... in 3... 2... 1.
yeah i did, too...it was brutal. i'm writing a LOCI and sending in updated transcripts just so i don't have any regrets, but am mentally crossing CLS off the list.jd2014! wrote:So, guys. (You know, maybe 2%?) =)
That could be true, if only because so many of the holds seemed to have great numbers. JD2014, were there a lot of high-number holds last year?Weirdlog wrote:It really looks like they have held way more people this time around. I'd be shocked if 90% of us were waitlisted and 9% of us were rejected.

Anyway, I'm not a high-number hold, so I'm assuming now would be the right time for me to start seriously comparing the schools I am accepted at. Thanks so much for doing the research!
Congrats!ahduth wrote:Well, the mailman came. 1/31 postmark VCE, I submitted over Thanksgiving, went complete like, mid-December.
