No hold is new this year.

Negative. Reserve = waitlist. Holds are given a decision of WL, ding, accept in April.

Nevermind. Sorry. I was reserved last year. Great times.

Dates? I guess here they come.

I went complete in mid-September. Received email at 4:13PM EST.

I'll do you one better- held AND reserved! Hows that for a mediocre application?

I got more guessing to do. If we don't get hold email, does it mean straight back to reserve?

I'm going to resist the urge to make a spreadsheet on this one. Be proud, guys.

Good for you dulc! I am resisting the urge to obsess too much about this one. At this point, I feel like there is pretty much nothing we can do. Also, if I recall holds didn't come out till the second week of Feb. last year, so the calendar is a bit different. I give up on trying to read these tea leaves.

I wonder if they are done sending out holds for the day? No! Must. stop. speculating.

Speculate the chances of not being held this year. Since your hold led to a reserve.

Just got held a couple minutes ago. The non-special kind. Submitted late November/finished processing in December.

The e-mail only mentions sending in updated transcripts; any idea whether an LOCI is appropriate here as well? Thanks.

I received the held email and I'm quite excited by it considering it was a massive reach and I figured they'd just laugh at me.

eecs, there was no mention of the word "special" in your e-mail? does that mean reserve?

Uh oh. A tiny (and by tiny I mean overwhelmingly huge) part of my speculative nature believes that no VCE and no hold email inevitably means reserve/ding. Dear CLS, it's been nice knowing you.
