Re: Columbia 2011!
So if we applied mid-December and went complete 1/4, we shouldn't expect any news until February/early March?

Re: Columbia 2011!
My spreadsheets don't have December info, though. Maybe I'll be super bored this break and put some of that info together. We'll see!

Last year's applicants sorted by Complete date. Looks like you could hear anywhere from the first batch in January (around 1/25 last year) to mid-April (if a WL).

Re: Columbia 2011!
Hey guys, question. So, my grades FINALLY all got in today, which should boost my LSDAS to a 3.80 (I'm sending in my transcript to LSAC tomorrow). Even though Columbia didn't ask for my grades, should I send them an email anyway for hopes of a more favorable decision or scholarship money? If so, which email would I use?

Definitely send them. I think you send the transcript to LSAC and they'll automatically issue a new one to CLS. Or I think you can email admissions@law.columbia.edu.Verisimi wrote:Hey guys, question. Yeah, I just want to make sure that they see them before making their decision, and LSAC is probably swamped right now. I'll try and see if I get a response, thanks.vertex wrote:Definitely send them. We're all nearly exact twins now I think.lzyovrachievr wrote:I know you're upset about this, but I just want to let you know that makes us officially twins now. (Hopefully though, no schools will ask you for this info. )eskimo wrote:Pretty much the same (but a 3.77). At least we're still well above median!padthai wrote:Just got my fall grades in and my GPA got pulled down to a 3.76
Nooo...hoping to God I don't get a fall grades request.
If I only went complete on 12/13, I shouldn't be expecting to hear anything until February right?

Re: Columbia 2011!
Quick question - if someone receives the Hamilton, but chooses a different school to attend, do they extend that money to someone else or is it just a lost scholarship? (wondering about this with Mich and Chi too)

+1. I feel like I always get into schools with/a couple days after both of you. So I need both of your streaks to continue on so mine will.dulcatis wrote:+1starrydreamz3 wrote:Yo Columbia! Nope!
Wouldn't do to spoil the sanctity of the admissions process with anything so gauche as a helpful status checker.

Columbia is now my last T6 hope unless I somehow get admitted off the Chicago WL or NYU ED Deferral.

So we're looking at the end of January, right? Somehow the first reserve, second reserve, etc system REALLY intimidates me. What a long wait...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
