Also--just called the admissions office. If held, a LOCI qualifies as an appropriate response--other appropriate responses include address changes, new arrests and convictions, etc. I asked about updating a resume, but was told it would be appropriate to include that in the LOCI. I got the impression that they don't want to be bombarded by a ton of stuff, just what is relevant and necessary.

Perhaps they should have deliberated more on this subject, say, 24 hours ago...

The Jan 31 doesn't work for me. The other LA VCEs came 2 days later, so mine would've come yesterday if I had one.

I don't believe in the math surrounding postal deliveries right now. If it was on a train that was coming through the Midwest when the storm hit, add X number of days.

I would love to live with that fantasy, but IIRC one of the people who got a 1/31 was in LA. I could be wrong, but if I'm not it looks like the mail made it out here just fine. I like your thinking though!
