i imagine at this point they are releasing decisions roughly when they make them, but then again they have been releasing so few that that doesn't make sense...

They are just taking their time to strategically admit applicants while careful not to screw up their yield. From what I've seen, most of the held applicants that have gotten admittances all had extremely high #s.bob77 wrote:i imagine at this point they are releasing decisions roughly when they make them, but then again they have been releasing so few that that doesn't make sense...

Haven't there been splitters, too? Those splitters don't necessarily have very high indices.RJ127 wrote:They are just taking their time to strategically admit applicants while careful not to screw up their yield. Re: Columbia 2011!
yea a significant percentage have had not all that high of indexes. also, now that they've seen the entire pool, i'm sure they could start rejecting and reserving many more of the holds than they have been. i dunno what's goin on...jrose5 wrote:Haven't there been splitters, too? I was under the impression that everyone who got the nod was relatively high. I think the lowest splitter I personal saw was a 3.6x/174.jrose5 wrote:Haven't there been splitters, too? 3.9/171 (index would be a 4.4 rounded up)RJ127 wrote:Damn. Sorry to hear that...what are your stats if you don't mind?c_dubya_s wrote:Reserved via email just now--held at the beginning of February.
It makes me a little sad, but at least that's one more I don't have to worry about! Not sure yet if I'll ride it out.

Reserved just now as well. 3.5/170, also a part of the 2/2 hold group.
